Use this grey scale to set up your computer monitor. The first square should be white but not blown out. First, use the contrast control on your screen to make square 1 white to your eye. Next, use the brightness control to make number 11 square as black as the background. If the white square starts to darken during the process, use the contrast control to make it white again. You should be able to see eleven steps in this grey scale.
